You know you want to make changes that have a positive impact on your wellbeing.
My name is Michelle, I am a qualified counsellor providing support for adults. People come to counselling for a variety of reasons, commonly including anxiety, depression, and struggles with self-worth or confidence. But often many people are uncertain about what they are going through or why, they feel confused, isolated, and overwhelmed.
My calm and friendly approach to counselling is exactly what many people need when facing challenges, inner turmoil and distress in their lives. A safe and supportive space where you can share your thoughts and feelings is essential in order to process what you are going through. This can be incredibly empowering for people as they develop a greater understanding of themselves and others. Counselling creates a opportunity for you to gain deeper self awareness which leads to making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with the problems you are facing.

Taking the First Step

Reaching out for support is often the most challenging step. I understand how daunting it can be to talk to a stranger and the anxiety or fear you might feel about contacting me. That’s why I offer a complimentary 15-minute chat in person or over the phone with no obligations. During this time, we won’t delve deeply into your situation; instead, we’ll discuss an overview of what has led you to come to counselling. This allows me to understand how I can best support you .

This is your opportunity to ask any questions you may have and begin to gain a sense of whether I am the right Counsellor for you. If, after our conversation, you feel at ease and happy, we can schedule our first session. Alternatively, if you’d like some time to think, I can call you back at a time that suits you. It’s important to make sure we are a good fit to work together. Counselling is a personal and relational led process.
You are always in control, and should you decide to begin counselling, we can make arrangements for your first session. For more information on initial contact, please visit my blog page.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support and want to explore whether counselling could be helpful for you. You can use the chat option at the bottom of this page, email me, or call or text. If I’m unable to answer your call, please feel free to leave a message on my confidential voicemail, and I will return your call. I aim to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.
